SUBMARCON WINS CONTRACT TO LAY CABLE BETWEEN ANGLESEY AND EIRE

The contract to lay a fibre optic telephone cable between Anglesey, North Wales, and Port Marnock, Eire has been awarded by British Telecom and Telecom Eireann to Submarcom, the French company jointly owned by Alcatel NV and Cables de Lyon SA.
