OK, the Computers for Dummies series was a surprise hit in the publishing world, but can the new Atlanta, Georgia-based start-up sTUPId PC Inc – with that combination of upper and lower case letters making the name even more stupid – really make a success of things? Just in case it has difficulties selling its $800 PC line, which uses Advanced Micro Devices Inc’s K5 processor, to its target audience of smart people who are still leery and intimidated by computers, the company is offering a free Geek teeshirt, mousepad and key chain with every purchase.
