Plano, Texas-based Structured Software Solutions Inc has announced FaceTerm 2.0, a windowing system for terminals attached to Unix systems: it enables users to run up to 10 Unix applications on a standard character terminal and switch between applications at any time; a pull-down menu is included and sessions running off-screen continue to run and when called back to the screen, display updated information; the software is currently implemented for Santa Cruz Operation Inc Unix and Xenix, for NCR Corp Towers and Unisys Corp Unix machines, and it is priced at $500 for a five-user licence, rising to $8,000 for a 100-user licence.
