The money will be used to push sales of Striva’s Detail line of software, a new name for the reworked EDP product that comprised a couple of data mover tools that allow bulk, batch and cached data to be fed from legacy into target databases in real time.
Detail is used to integrate data on disparate hardware, operating systems and database management systems by a customer roster said to number 600, and including the likes of American Express, Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Continental Airlines.
The list of vendors reselling Striva’s software includes Informatica, BusinessObjects, BMC Software, Embarcadero Technologies, Hummingbird and Sagent.
