Stratus Computer Inc, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts has signed a $1.5m contract with the freight shipper and supplier, Distribution Services: the shipper plans to build an extensive tracking, warehousing, and administrative system based on Stratus’ XA2000 Model 230; the package includes the XA2000 Continuous Processing System, 20Gb of disk storage and communications software; the XA2000 will communicate with an installed base of IBM mainframes and personal computers in several regional and overseas offices.
