Stratus Telecommunications has added the billing and enterprise modules to its ENTICE VoIP and converged services platform for wireline, wireless and broadband service providers. Enhancements to the ENTICE application suite include a new billing module for prepaid/postpaid calling card applications and a new enterprise capabilities designed for carriers delivering hosted PBX services.

Stratus said that individual application modules can be used on a standalone basis or combined with other applications enabling carriers to offer a range of services without having to purchase and integrate applications and billing programs from multiple vendors.

The new prepaid/postpaid module includes: upgraded administrative websites for system owners and resellers; integrated rate decks for calling cards and other ENTICE application modules; new charge tracking capabilities; support for ANI-based (Automatic Number Identification) services; and integration with other ENTICE billing modules.

The new enterprise module includes: the ability to save product templates; account code dialling and other improved features are now supported; and integrated billing across multiple VoIP services.

ENTICE modular applications are designed to be used in conjunction with Stratus’s suite of infrastructure services for converged TDM and VoIP networks. It includes a session border controller, a converged tandem/international gateway, a softswitch, a converged SCP for LNP, and destination screening for delivering digital voice services to both the hosted enterprise and retail market.
