Strategic Solutions Inc, the Annapolis, Maryland-based software and systems integrator, is to combine with an unnamed private company in what looks like a reverse takeover. The firm, from Prince George’s County, Maryland, is described only as a high technology firm involved in systems integration, wireless telecommunications, custom software design and avionics equipment. It has business with the Department of Defense, Federal, State and Local Governments, and commercial customers. The combined entity is projected to have revenues of $40m for the first 12 months. Under the terms of the non-binding letter of intent, Strategic Solutions Inc would issue new shares of stock to the private company, giving the owners of that company majority ownership. Strategic Solutions, an eight year-old company previously known as Pacific Animated Imaging Corp, split away from its US Technologies Inc division, a Lotus Notes developer, back in April. It now concentrates on computer and web-based training systems.
