STORAGETEK TAPE FOR SPERRY 1100

After the CDC+IBM model of its 4600 tape drive added last year, Storage Technology Corp now has a Unisys 1100 version claimed to take 40% less power and space than the Sperry alternative. Running at 200 ips it is $47,500 for the A70 version with integral controller, $21,000 for the B70; US ships this quarter.
