STORAGE TECHNOLOGY OFFERS NEARNET 7900 TO BACK UP UNIX SYSTEMS

Storage Technology Corp, Louisville, Colorado, has introduced NearNet 7900 storage management software and hardware using its robotic library for backing up networks of Unix and other Network File System-based systems. NearNet was developed in conjunction with Epoch Systems Inc, and future enhancements will use Epoch-derived source code. With an existing tape library, prices for it go from $33,600.
