Stet SpA, Italy’s state telecommunications holding company, which is due to be privatised later next year or in 1995, already has Bell Atlantic Corp as a partner, but says it is looking for broad international alliances with other large companies, its managing director Michele Tedeschi told Reuter. In the meantime, it will press ahead with accords in specific sectors and try to deepen relationships with its existing foreign partners.
