STERLING SOFTWARE HAS REPORTING TOOLS FOR ORACLE OLAP

Sterling Software Inc yesterday announced the availability of the latest version of its on-line analysis and reporting software called Vision: Dimensions, for users of Oracle Express Server on a Windows platform. The Los Angeles, California software vendor said companies using version five or six of Oracle’s multidimensional Express Server OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) database could use its tools to construct powerful queries of the data and view the results in an easy-to-understand text report. The file can then be imported into the VISION:Dimensions report writer, which provides provides formatting options for creating professional reports and generating two and three-dimensional charts.
