STERLING RELEASES COOL:GEN 5 TOOL

Dallas, Texas-based Sterling Software Inc has launched COOL: Gen 5 model-based application development tool. Sterling and Hewlett-Packard Co have collaborated on introducing a 64 bit architecture for COOL, the tool now supports the HP-UX 11 Unix operating system. In addition, Sterling has added support for IBM Corp’s TXSeries and extended support for BEA System’s Tuxedo middleware.
