The company, which won a five-year contract in October 2012, will help the UK Armed Forces improve efficiency, safety and performance by testing and evaluating the MOD’s systems and military equipment.
Trevor Purches, assistant head at MOD’s defence information services, said: "The work LSRC does is vital to ensuring successful military operations across the globe. As such, working with trusted partners including Steria is key in helping us to continue delivering this crucial role."
Steria will also manage the deliveries and facilities across the project, and coordinate the LSRC team with a team including military and civilian staff as well third party specialist vendors.
Net Consulting, a third party specialist vendor in performance monitoring, troubleshooting and prediction, will cover the full application lifecycle from performance modeling of applications to capacity planning of the network bandwidth.
