Don’t look to STC Plc if any substantial defence electronics interests should come on offer: we hear that at a City lunch last week, chief executive Arthur Walsh told the assembly that he was definitely not shopping for a defence arm, the message being that if one were to drop into his lap at a bargain price, he wouldn’t say no, but otherwise, don’t hold your breath.
