STARTING IN THE TOY INDUSTRY

Sounds a little bizarre until you remember that one of the first commercial applications of microprocessors was the trivial ping pong computer game: Tokyo University professor Shoji Tanaka, the first to repeat the IBM Zrich high-temperature superconductivity experiment, reckons that the first commercial application of the new technology may well be in the toy industry – in five or six years’ time.
