Standard Microsystems Corp, Hauppauge, New York has won a qualified injunction against Samsung Co of Seoul, South Korea which prevents it from finding new customers for its 256K memory chips or increasing shipments to existing ones above present levels: the injunction, handed down in US district court in Boston, is tied to the outstanding patent infringement suit brought by Standard Micro against Samsung.
