The new divisions will focus on providing eBusiness solutions for organizations utilizing the Internet to maximize their business potential. The four new business units focus on specific applications within the eCRM, eBanking, eProcurement and Supply Chain Management markets. All four units are forecast to enjoy fast growth in the next few years.

John O’Connell, CEO and Chairman, Staffware said The use of on-line applications offered by the Internet and designed to restructure an organization’s business processes and transactions, has radically altered the way companies can do business for ever. Such applications can ensure all appropriate business processes are automated and dealt with by the right people at the right time extending outside traditional boundaries to include customers, suppliers and business partners in a virtual trading community.

Staffware recognized this over a year ago when it first launched its eProcess initiative. Over the past year Staffware has honed its focus, forged a number of alliances and launched a number of specific marketing events aimed at the eProcess applications sector. Co-existence with other related technologies is a key part of our strategy he continued.

Staffware will be offering its process workflow technology – vertical specific applications and extensive integration with complimentary ERP, CRM, Banking and Procurement technologies.

Specifically for the eProcurement market, Staffware today announced an alliance with UK based Biomni, a specialist eProcurement organization co-owned by Computacenter and Computersoft.

Biomni operates the largest procurement electronic network in Europe. Our workflow engine will inject a flexible and scalable process driven capability initially into the current buy-side functionality of the Biomni product set, concluded O’Connell.

According to the Gartner Group, workflow based eProcess:

Is the underlying engine delivering a process-controlled service for eBusiness applications and users

Isolates the process logic from the data and the performer, thereby avoiding limiting flexibility for easy enhancement and replication.

Facilitates process cloning (reusable processes across different applications)

Allows organizations to process more efficiently.

The benefit of utilising Staffware technology in process based applications, is to streamline operations – both human and computer based, increase efficiency, decrease costs and improve customer service, which benefits participants throughout the value chain.
