Santa Monica, California-based G-Plus is a fabless semiconductor manufacturer that specializes in the design of radio frequency integrated circuits for wireless multimedia and broadband networking applications.
Under terms of the deal, G-Plus’s 36 employees, including co-founders CTO Frank Chang and president Daniel Chow, will join SST Communications Corp, a newly created wholly subsidiary of Sunnyvale, California-based SST.
The acquisition follows the purchase last month of an 83.9% stake in Emosyn LLC for $19 million.
