Softkey Software Products Inc, headquartered in Toronto, Canada is to acquire Informatrix 2000 Inc, a publisher of tax software: in 1990, Informatrix had sales of $17.8m and after tax profits of $3.1m, while Softkey reported revenues of $12.3m and net profits of $3.2m for 1990; the acquisition, intended to double Softkey Products’ sales and earnings, is to be completed in April.
