Square D, the electrical control and distributor equipment maker of Palatine, Illinois, has set up a European office to spearhead its expansion strategy: the new office, to be based at Walton-on Thames, Surrey, will undertake specialised investment projects, strategic planning and marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa; Square D claims to have $60m invested in product development in Europe.
