SQS and SOASTA launch TaaS

The deal should allow companies to provide cloud testing rapidly and at a large scale.

By Amy-Jo Crowley

Software testing specialist SQS has joined forces with SOASTA to deliver a new Testing-as-a-Service platform.

SQS said it will provide on-demand testing services using SOASTA’s automated cloud based testing solutions for web applications including TouchTest and CloudTest.

Rob McConnell, regional director at SQS in Northern Ireland, said SQS will be able to deliver the services rapidly and at a very large scale

"This enables SQS to offer pay-as-you-go pricing for testing infrastructure, provide leading edge diagnostics using a collaborative test analysis platform, and speed up the testing process," he explained.

The testing services include security testing, performance testing and quality assurance.
