CompuServe Inc’s newest acquisition, Seattle-based Spry Inc, has announced the industry’s first World Wide Web browser for Windows95, imaginatively titled Mosaic In A Box For Windows95. The software includes a secure electronic wallet for commercial transactions, Adobe Systems Inc’s Acrobat Viewer, and support for the Virtual Reality Modeling Language. Two pricing structures are available for the software plus an Internet account: either seven hours connection for a flat $10 monthly fee; or $20 for 20 hours – each subsequent hour costing $1.95. It is not clear whether the Mosaic browser can be has separately from the Internet account.
