Earlier this year, Sprint E|Solutions and Sun announced a strategic alliance of their sales and marketing teams to provide an integrated Web solution for customers.
As part of its commitment to enhance the infrastructure and application components of the Sprint Application Infrastructure Management (AIM) platform, Sprint E|Solutions is working with Sun and iPlanet to enhance business customers’ end-to-end applications capabilities.
In addition to Sprint’s Tier 1 backbone and Web-hosting offered through its Internet Centers, now Sprint AIM and iPlanet messaging and calendar services will combine and offer leading software features such as: application monitoring and reporting, security, mobile commerce and help desk support.

Sun is a preferred technology provider for the Sprint E|Solutions Internet Center infrastructure. The company is providing Sun EnterpriseTM servers and storage devices running on the Solaris TM Operating Environment, consulting, service and support, to help meet the availability standards Sprint E|Solutions customers expect.
