Sprint Communications Corp and Cisco Systems Inc have teamed up to offer what they bill as three complete internet access packages for businesses. The offerings, called enterprise internet access solutions, are designed to provide businesses of various sizes with an easy route for connecting to the internet. The packages are based on Cisco’s routers and Sprint’s SONET ring network and internet services.
The three fixed-price offerings are being marketed at companies based on their need for bandwidth – from 128kb connections to T1 and DS3 connections – and come bundled with customer service from each company. Smaller companies that start out with an entry- level package will be able to seamlessly upgrade to the next one as their needs increase, the two partners say.
