Telecommunications company Sprint has released a new hosted and managed unified communications (UC) application, Sprint Complete Collaboration to enable mid-sized and large businesses to deploy UC over an all-IP network across the enterprise.
The new application is powered by a fully integrated Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) platform.
The hosted UC application packs elements needed to deploy UC, including: connectivity through SIP Trunking, integrated messaging, collaboration tools, IP and video telephony, user endpoints and enhanced mobile integration.
Sprint Complete Collaboration delivers a simplified mobile user experience by offering both client and network-based mobile integration.
The mobile integration app extends PBX features to mobile devices, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery.
The new application is available in three packages: voice-centric, standard and premium, said Cisco.
Employees who need just voice call management and basic UC functions can choose voice-centric option while standard package provides voice features plus enhanced collaboration through IM, presence and desktop sharing.
Premium option is for executives or mobile/remote employees with voice features and collaboration tools, plus mobile presence and support for a range of user endpoints.
The UC application also includes software release upgrades, service level agreements and a Web-based administration system that is integrated with Sprint’s Compass network management portal.
