British Sky Broadcasting is raising the temperature with its brand new programming line-up for Spring and Summer 2001.

Sky promises to bring viewers the hottest new entertainment, movies, sports and news. In addition, as part of the GBP500 million schedule, this season Sky digital unveils new interactive features and programming which will make television more exciting than ever before.

Seasonal highlights include:

The Bombmaker and Do or Die – two new television drama events on Sky One starring Dervla Kirwan and Patsy Palmer respectively

exclusive rights to the hottest new reality series from the United States, Boot Camp, also on Sky One

the British television premieres next month of Julia Roberts’ Oscar(R)-winning performance as Erin Brockovich on Sky Box Office and Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace on Sky Premier

a scorching summer of sport – the best British & Irish rugby players live and interactive on the Lions’ tour of Australia; England’s One-Day cricket series with Australia and Pakistan live and interactive; and, for the first time, the best international athletics outside the Olympics
