Edinburgh, Scotland based Spider Systems Ltd has launched a series of high-density serial boards, the Triple X.21, Triple V.35 and Triple V.24, for its SpiderIntegrator Mezza router, launched last April (CI No 2,396). According to the company, the boards will offer Mezza the ability to handle three times the amount of remote office connections using leased lines. The products will ship this month, priced from รบ1,000. Spider has also launched version 7.0 of SpiderX.25, its Streams-based implementation of the X.25 protocol suite. According to the company, this latest offering now offers Management Information Base support, enabling OEM customers to use enhanced station management either via a remote station across a network or locally. In addition, version 7.0 is said to introduce X.32 registration to the link layer, as well as the previously supported packet layer. The product is shipping now. No prices.
