SPA SAYS SOFTWARE SALES ROCCKETED 48% IN FIRST THREE QUARTERS IN 1988

Amplifying its figures that show a soaring demand for personal computer software in the US, the Software Publishers Association says that software sales rocketed 48% in the first three quarters of 1988, compared with a maximum growth rate in any category of 25% last year: Apple Computer Inc has most cause to chortle sales of programs for the Macintosh are up by 87% this year.
