AT&T Co itself will be Southwestern Bell Telephone’s third commercial customer for Integrated Services Digital Networking under a four-year contract that calls for ISDN services at AT&T’s southwest regional headquarters in the St Louis suburb of Ballwin: the contract calls for service on 2,300 lines, and AT&T looks for a remarkable $1m annual saving in the time and expense it would otherwise incur just from moving data terminals around.
