SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE JOINS TEAM BIDDING FOR US INTERNAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORK CONTRACT

Martin Marietta has persuaded Southern New England Telephone to join its bid for the massive US government internal telecommunications network contract – important because of the number of government offices in Connecticut: others in the team include all the seven big regional phone firms, MCI Communications and Northern Telecom.
