Southern New England Telecommunications Corp says it is to buy transmission equipment for its I-SNET network from AT&T Corp; details of the deal have not yet been finalised, but the companies say that they expect the kit to account for most of the $1,000m cost of the first phase of the network, which will provide video-on-demand to 150,000 customers in Connecticut.
