Allied Electronics Corp Pty, the South African company that moved in on Telemetrix Plc in May with a recapitalisation plan that gave it majority ownership of the graphics terminal systems company as the basis of a planned foray into the European market (CI No 923), yesterday made its first move to expand the company. It has acquired the technical and marketing interests of Rasterex A/S of Oslo, Norway, a supplier of personal computer graphics systems, for the Westward Technology subsidiary of Telemetrix and a new company, Rasterex International AS has been formed in Oslo as a Westward subsidiary.
