Sony Ericsson has unveiled a new 3G-enabled Naite unlocked handset, which will be available at Sony Style stores across the US.
The newest addition to Sony Ericsson’s line of GreenHeart handsets, Naite is comprised of 50% post-consumer recycled plastic housing and has a low power consumption charger (.03W in standby mode). It also eliminates the paper user-manual and provides an integrated, in-phone e-manual in its place.
The Naite phone, which is priced at $159, comes with an integrated Facebook application and offers Google Maps for Mobile and Google search functionality, integrated bluetooth stereo for wireless audio streaming and a built-in FM radio with song recognition technology.
The new handset includes a 2.2-inch display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, 2 megapixel camera and microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of storage space.
In addition, the new handset also provides an own mobile blog and allows for internet browsing and downloads with 3G speeds. The TrackID technology displays the artist and song title while its integrated Media Go software allows users to drag-and-drop MP3 tracks between any compatible PC and the Naite phone.
