Sony Ericsson launches new Windows phone Aspen

Features Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system, 2.4-inch touchscreen and 3.2 megapixel camera

Sony Ericsson has expanded its GreenHeart portfolio with the launch of a new business mobile phone Aspen, which includes features such as 2.4-inch touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera and Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system.

The new Sony Ericsson Aspen measures 117 x 60 x 12.45mm and weighs around 130 grams. It allows multi-tasking combining the touch experience and a real Qwerty keyboard. Organise and adapt panels to change during the day and use slide view for quick access to common features.

According to Sony Ericsson, the new Aspen features fun applications at PlayNow such as games and new music; media browser for access to music, photos and videos; social network tool; and human curvature design that fits into the palm of the hand.

In addition, it also features bluetooth, Adobe PDF Reader, Google search, Facebook, Skype, YouTube and connectivity with 3.5 mm audio jack, Google Maps, USB support and Wi-Fi. It comes with support for HSPA 900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, HSPA 850/900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.

Sony Ericsson Aspen is expected to be available in selected markets from second quarter of 2010 with a choice of Iconic Black and White Silver colours.
