Sony Mobile has launched a new smartphone, Xperia SL that is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 dual-core processor, which allows users to experience everything in HD with a sharp smartphone display.
The new smartphone runs on Ice Cream Sandwich Google Android 4.0 operating system and it includes the Face unlock feature. User can now keep track of his data consumption and set limits or warning levels.
Xperia SL also includes new Sony "WALKMAN" app, featuring a manual equaliser, surround sound and a dynamic user interface.
The new phones comes with a 4,3" Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine.
Xperia SL features a 12 megapixel fast capture camera which goes from sleep to snap in over a second while the Exmor R feature in the camera sensor allows taking snaps in low light. .
With the Sony Xperia SL, users can now share their music wirelessly with One-touch Listening on NFC speakers and can view pictures and videos on a big screen with a swipe on the display or can plug the smartphone into the HDTV’s HDMI port.
It also includes PlayStation store through which users can download games.
Together with Box, Sony is also offering a free 50GB storage space for user music, videos, photos and more. It also features Sony Entertainment Network where user can download a movie from Video Unlimited and can enjoy songs from Music Unlimited.
Weighs about144g, the smartphone is powered by 1GB RAM as well as comes with FM Radio with RDS, 27.8GB of internal storage.
