According to the company, the Duo 13 can perform operations like the updating applications and receiving emails in the sleep mode and takes less than one second to resume operation from the sleep mode.
Features of the device include 8MP built-in rear camera with the Exmor RS for PC image sensor, which allows the user to tag text in photos, along with the CamScanner application and an OptiContrast panel that is claimed to offer better writing experience.
The VAIO Pro 13/11, which is claimed to be the world’s lightest touch capable Ultrabook has an uni-direction carbon fibre body and Hexa-shell design along with wide key pitch and stroke and the palm rest that merges into the desk.
Both the mobile PCs are made available with the TRILUMINOS Display for that offers high resolution picture and high-fidelity sound with Sony’s BRAVIA expertise and the X-Reality for mobile, and also feature One-touch listening function that allows music transfer from Near Field Communication compatible devices.
Sony plans to make both the devices available by middle of June 2013.
