Sony has rolled out latest updates to its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software for some of 2011 Xperia smartphones.
This week, the company has started delivering a few models of the Xperia line-up with Android update namely Xperia Mini, Xperia Mini Pro, Xperia Active and Sony Live with Walkman.
The latest version of the Android operating system is also rolled out for Sony Xperia Arc and Sony Xperia Neo that will see Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and 2.6.32 kernel.
The update is released in batches in some markets initially, and the rest of the smartphones will see the ICS updates shortly.
Sony Xperia go comes with a 3.5-inch reality display, 8 GB internal phone storage, a 1GHz dual core processor and launched on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, upgradeable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
On the other hand, Sony Xperia acro S will be the first smartphone to be launched with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
The smartphone has a 4.3 inch reality display, 16 internal phone storage, a GB 1.5GHz dual core processor and has HDMI TV connectivity.
