Cirencester, Gloucestershire based 3Com-Sonix, as Sonix Communications Ltd now calls it self after its acquisition by San Jose-based 3Com Corp in March (CI No 2,630), has launched its Arpeggio ISDN range in the US. The company, which claims to have a 46% share in the UK ISDN internet working market, said its North American strategy is two-fold. It plans to grow the market for small businesses and branch offices accessing corporate local networks, and win itself a share of the Internet access market.
