Insurance broker and underwriter C E Heath Plc of London EC3 reported pre-tax profits up 13% to UKP27.3m on turnover up 16% to UKP112.5m. Its computer services division saw pre-tax profit rise by 52% to UKP3m on turnover up 17% to UKP28m. Peterborough Software put in a good profits performance, getting particularly high margins from technical consultancy and its personnel management software designed to run on personal computers. The company says it will shortly announce a venture in France. As for the bureau services company Datasure, it is reported to have put in an all-round solid performance, and is expecting great things from exclusive rights it has acquired for the financial aid Advisa.
