Solera to purchase ADP’s claims processing unit

In a move that will see the company shift the focus of its operations, payroll and human resources service provider Automatic Data Processing has agreed to sell its claims services business to Solera, in a $975 million cash transaction.

By CBR Staff Writer

Solera is a GTCR Golder Rauner-owned outsourcing service provider that will take control of ADP’s claims processing business operations, clients and associates.

As a result of the purchase, ADP is expected to focus on improving the services it offers through its human resources outsourcing division.

ADP expects the transaction to close within 90 days, subject to normal regulatory review and customary closing conditions.
