The service will leverage Solace’s ‘VRS/32’ value-added services routing system and Paritech’s real-time platform to deliver and manage trading information from global financial exchanges to corporate, wholesale and retail investor market segments.
The companies’ partnership aims to create a product which uses intelligent routing within global service provider networks to deliver data, news and research from exchanges to Paritech-enabled workstations. Here, decisions and trades can be made in real time.
Financial services companies rely on expensive market data feeds that inundate their systems with information they may not need, taxing bandwidth and processing power, said Frank Guerrera, Solace’s chief technology officer, financial services. Moving delivery and routing demands into a robust carrier-hosted application-aware solution is much more cost-effective for end-users and takes the processing pressure off local systems. It also creates a valuable revenue source for the provider.
