Software Publishing Corp won’t be shipping its PFS: Professional Write Plus word processing and desktop publishing package for Personals any time soon, and Harvard Professional Publisher has also been pulled from production, according to Microbytes Daily: the newswire reports that PFS:Pro Write Plus got a thumbs down from dealers who previewed it recently, forcing Software Publishing programmers back to the coding sheets; dealers criticised the program’s lack of integration between word processing and desktop publishing features, and there is no revised date yet for the next version; the problem with Harvard Professional Publisher was that the package could not be changed fast enough to make it competitive, and so existing owners of the program may exchange it for free copies of First Publisher and Harvard Graphics.
