Zuora launches Z-Payments 2.0 powered by PayPal X

To help business manage recurring subscription commerce

Zuora has launched Z-Payments 2.0 powered by PayPal X. The new offering is an subscription commerce offering to help businesses manage the complexities associated with recurring subscription commerce.

The company said that the flexibility of PayPal X makes it for them to extend PayPal’s core capabilities such as payment failure handling and diagnostics and processing of refunds, overpayments, chargebacks, write-offs, voids, and invoice adjustments.

According to Zuora, the new offering works with PayPal’s Adaptive Payment APIs to enable Pre-authorised payments; improved payment auditability and failure handling; revenue operations; automation and notification; support for more payment gateways; advanced payment processing features; and accounting system integration.

With Z-Payments 2.0, companies in various industries can build subscription storefronts using PayPal X’s capabilities, such as media, cloud computing, SaaS, gaming.

Osama Bedier, PayPal’s vice president of platform, said: Zuora extended PayPal’s payments capabilities into recurring payments, addressing complex business needs for a range of verticals, such as media companies, SaaS vendors and cloud computing.
