ZTE, a provider of telecommunications equipment and network offerings, has launched the ZTE Blade, its first branded Android-based handset for the Hungarian market in collaboration with T-Mobile Hungary.
The touchscreen ZTE Blade handset is a Dual Band GSM/UMTS with GPRS, EDGE and HSDPA connectivity and operates on an Android operating system. It features a 3.5 inch large TFT display with 114 x 56 x 12.2mm dimensions and weighs a pocket friendly 133gm.
Powered with Qualcomm processor and 512 MB RAM, the smartphone contains a built-in GPS receiver, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a 3.2 Mpx camera with auto-focus and an expandable microSD-Card memory support up to 16GB.
The smartphone features a number of different widgets and applications, and further apps can be downloaded from Google’s Android platform.
T-Mobile Hungary director of Device Management Directorate Temesi Gyorgy said this was the first smartphone with ZTE, and T-Mobile was pleased to see a quality high-end handset with a very competitive price tag.
ZTE’s Blade handset is available for sale throughout the country in T-Shops, exclusive T-Partners and in webshop at 0 Ft with a MédiaMánia tariff package.
