Yulong Coolpad, a Chinese smartphones supplier, has launched its latest 3G mobile phone, the Coolpad N900. The new offering is a CDMA2000/GSM 3G dual sim dual stand technology handset combining the UI interface of iPhone 3D touch and is designed according to the usage habits of Chinese customers, the company said.

Yulong claims to introduce the first dual mode dual stand-by technology of the world in 2005. In recent years, the company has focused on developing the Coolpad brand.

The company said that the new offering includes the latest TOUCH operation offering an enhanced interaction experience, and has handwriting input capability for Chinese consumers. The model includes other new functions such as contact management and portable business office and also has dual mode dual stand-by capability.

According to research done by Analysys on usage habits in the Chinese market, more than 70% of consumers prefer downloading products and applications for free. Yulong Coolpad offers a free software supermarket for the Coolpad N900, which caters to the internet usage habits of Chinese consumers.
