One of Britain’s best-loved 80’s kid’s TV shows is to be revived for a special one-off episode, it has been revealed

The episode of Knightmare, a roleplaying game in which contestants had to complete quests in a CGI fantasy world, has been produced for YouTube’s Geek Week to be held on August 4-10 – a celebration of gaming, science fiction and comics.

The show’s original creator has produced the episode, which will feature Jessie Cave (Harry Potter) and Isy Suttie (Peep Show), along with the show’s original dungeon master character, Treguard.

They’ll be accompied by four British YouTube stars, Phil Lester, Emma Blackery, Dan Howell and Stuart Ashen.

More than 100 YouTube creators will publish themed videos during Geek Week, which is being run by multi-channel network ChannelFlip.

Other content set to feature includes a celebration of Doctor Who and an array superheroes, and a day focusing on science and education channels.
