Amateur cyber security experts are participating in the 2014 Cyber Security Challenge Masterclass held at Churchill’s underground bunker.
The competition, which aims to protect the City of London from a simulated cyber attack, is expected to help the recruitment of next generation tech talent and highlight the predictable major cyberattack on the nation’s critical infrastructure.

The masterclass has been developed by cyber security experts from BT, GCHQ, the National Crime Agency (NCA), Juniper Networks and Lockheed Martin.
GCHQ Government and Industry Cyber Security Director General Ciaran Martin said that there is a need for more, high quality people in all sectors of the economy working on cyber security.
