XRoads Networks, a provider of unified bandwidth management platforms, has launched CloudFirewalls.com website and its line of Cloud Firewall products.
The new Edge2WAN Cloud Firewall appliances are specifically designed to provide security and reliability for services and applications in the cloud, including cloud-based office suites, CRM systems, voice over IP systems, remote data centre access, and remote data backup systems.
The company said that the Edge2WAN Cloud Firewalls were built to leverage cloud-based security in order to ensure real-time spyware and malware checking, real-time anti-virus support, and real-time web threat protection and filtering.
The Edge2WAN Cloud Firewalls were designed with built-in multi-ISP capability that uses multiple WAN connections for link load balancing and improved link failover and failback.
The Edge2WAN Cloud Firewalls include network acceleration services and its MSA technology enables the Firewall appliances to increase web-download speeds for end-users and improves responsiveness for the real-time web threat protection.
