Email management firm Xobni has launched a new service that gives businesses of all sizes the ability to deploy and manage Xobni to employees and create customisable extensions to increase productivity and efficiency within the work place.
The company said that the Xobni Enterprise builds on its existing service to solve email overload, and can be deployed and managed by IT administrators. It provides the framework to create and implement enterprise extensions for services such as Salesforce CRM, SharePoint, and company profile information via LDAP or internal company websites. The extensions are available for development, creating an ecosystem of offerings for businesses of all sizes.
The Xobni Enterprise comes with advanced search and relationship-management features for Microsoft Outlook and allows users to find critical information from deep in their inbox, along with key attachments, contact information, and calendar invites, Xobni said..
According to Xobni, the new Enterprise includes features such as, a web-based portal that allows customers to manage user profiles, groups and access to Xobni extensions; corporate directory integration, allows employees to access LDAP profiles, CRM and collaboration data directly within Outlook1, and advanced search capabilities to include calendar appointments, tasks and archived PST files.
The company is also launching Xobni Solution Provider Program partners including Atlius Consulting, Cogent, Echo Lane and Interdyne BMI, to integrate platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce CRM, among others. The partner program includes system integrators, value-added resellers and managed-service providers.
