World Fuel Services selects Terremark to co-locate critical IT infrastructure

How far the 'Managed Routing Service' be able to provide integrated worlwide network connectivity to the company?

Terremark Worldwide, a provider of managed IT infrastructure services, has announced that World Fuel Services has selected its network access point for the Americas to co-locate business-critical IT infrastructure.

According to the company, it will provide World Fuel Services highly secure and reliable co-location services backed by 100% service level agreements for the data center’s power and environmental systems.

Terremark has also said that it will also provide World Fuel Services its new managed routing service, leveraging the diverse world-wide network connectivity provided by some of telecommunications companies with infrastructure in Terremark’s carrier-neutral network access point (NAP) for the Americas.

Massoud Sedigh, chief information officer of World Fuel Services, said: Terremark’s set of services affords us the ability to adapt our IT infrastructure to meet the growth of our global operations.

In addition to superior connectivity and the ultimate in co-location services, the availability of a full suite of IT infrastructure services, including its new cloud computing offering, made Terremark the right service provider to manage the production environment for our global operations.
